A grand scale residence made intimate
Designed for formal entertaining, this grand-scale residence carries a rich architectural pedigree. Working closely with the client on a tight timeline, the design honors the home’s impeccable craftsmanship while reimagining it for contemporary living.
A grand scale residence made intimate
Layered, intentional furnishings scale the expansive rooms to feel intimate and welcoming. Key architectural and decorative elements were preserved — most notably the hand-painted dining room mural and the meticulously crafted circular staircase. The result is a home that feels deeply personal yet refreshingly modern, seamlessly integrating legacy with livability.
“Working remotely from her home base in Los Angeles, Parrish Cameron Robe managed to renovate, repaint, and furnish the entire home at breakneck speed—just a little over six months total. She used a palette of moody hues—teals, blues, golds and purples—that brings new energy to the existing pieces that the clients brought from their previous house while also incorporating the new home’s lush surroundings.”
